JP imports is a small family ran business based in Carlisle Cumbria.
We wanted to create the full package import service, hand picking vehicles and parts directly from Japan rather than using the UK import auctions where choice and quality is restricted to what goes under the hammer that day.
We traveled to Osaka Japan to find our first shipment of vehicles and to recruit an agent to work for us finding vehicles and parts on request. This has formed a good working relationship with our friends in Japan and they work hard to help us offer a reliable and quality service.

You can obviously see from the pictures on this page that we have a keen interest in the spectacular form of motorsport known as D1, which originated on the streets of Japan and has grown to boast a full USA and UK D1 Championship. But all that high octane fuel and burning rubber can’t be too good for the environment, so here at JP Imports, we like to try and make up for the pollution caused by our hobbies and day to day lives.

As a family and a company, we are concerned about the environment, so we looked hard for an environmentally friendly vehicle in Japan which was also practical and economical.
We were very impressed with Nissans Cube and Cubic.  These funky little cars hold the answer to a lot of our motoring problems here in the UK
